You will be required to provide a pre-authorisation by way of a credit card or equivalent at check-in to cover any incidental charges.
Please note that the pre-authorisations taken on your credit card may hold funds between five – ten working days, depending on your financial institution.
CANCELLATION & BOOKING POLICY
PENINSULA adopts the following practice when dealing with cancellation of a holiday booking.
We reserve the right, to cancel and modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged, in fraudulent or inappropriate activities, or under other circumstances where it appears as the reservation contained, or resulted from a mistake or error, or the booking contains false information, which is in contradiction to our booking policy.
Check-in time is 2.00PM and check-out time is 10.00AM. It would be appreciated if you could advise us of your estimated time of arrival especially if you are likely to arrive after 6:00 PM Monday – Friday or after 4:00 PM on Saturday or Sunday so that arrangements can be made for after-hours access to your keys and apartment location details.

Please note our Cancellation Policy:
Any amendments or cancellations of a booking must be made in writing at least 28 days prior to arrival date for a refund of your deposit less a $30 admin fee.
Cancellations within 14 Days
Within 14 days in low season, the full deposit is forfeited.
Cancellations within 7 Days
Where a booking is made less than 7 days prior to the planned arrival date, there will be no refund unless and until the premises are re-let for the total period of the original booking. In Case of re-let, an administration fee of $100.00 will be deducted from the deposit held before the remainder is refunded.
High Season including school holidays, Easter & Christmas Periods plus Airlie Beach Race Week – requires 28 days amendment / cancellation notice or full deposit is forfeited.
No Shows – full tariff is charged.
There is no refund for early departure once the stay has commenced.

CONFIRMED BOOKINGS
A booking that has not been confirmed by a deposit being paid is not guaranteed
The balance of the tariff is due on arrival (or such other time as stated).

Note: The administration fee covers the cost of processing the booking, receipting and banking the money, cancelling the booking from the system, drawing refund cheque, mailing the refund cheque with a covering letter and meeting bank charges.
